Funds donated to Recruiters for Fire Relief

The world has watched in horror as Australia has suffered bush fires on an unprecedented scale. Our RHL Recruitment team in Sydney have not been close to the danger zones, but have nonetheless been affected by the impact on their immediate environment of the smoke and being forced to remain indoors on certain days. They felt compelled to offer some help.

“So many people in this country have lost loved ones, pets and homes,” said Paul Surridge, director of RHL in Australia, “and the devastation to wildlife and their natural habitat is almost impossible to comprehend. We wanted to make a contribution to the Recruiters Relief Fund and, as part of HR GO group, we knew we could double the impact by calling on the Chairs Fund to match our personal donation.”

'Recruiters for Fire Relief' is a fund established by RCSA, the industry body in Australia for recruitment and staffing, to raise funds for the Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund, which will directly support those impacted by the fires.
