HR GO Marketing Team makes IRP Awards shortlist

We're excited to announce that our Marketing Team, based at Head Office in Ashford, has made the shortlist for the IRP 2017 Awards, in the Best Back-Office Support Team category. 

The marketing team comprises five full-time staff, Sharon Wilding, Sarah Murphy, Cristina Merino, Matthew White, and Vicky Scott, and a part-time freelance editorial consultant, Trevor Sturgess. Our group is complex, operating across more than 40 offices and several brands, including joint ventures. This level of complexity poses a huge challenge to the marketing role, requiring not only a cross-business approach at times, but also a service tailored to individual units.

In this the 60^th anniversary of the business founded in 1957, Marketing has promoted a memorable 60 Acts of Kindness campaign that has encouraged all staff to carry out sponsored and fund-raising activities.

This has helped bond the business while supporting a range of good causes, including the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, the group’s charity of the year voted for by staff. We are on track to raise £40,000 will be raised for the various charities.

As Group MD I am impressed by the huge strides made by Marketing in the past two years and believe this award is thoroughly deserved. Marketing is viewed as a vital contributor to the success of our group companies, coming up with innovative and original ideas for campaigns and designs that grab the attention of clients and staff.
