Dover recruitment firm, CMS, joins HR GO

A Dover recruitment business is set for faster growth after joining a large Kent-based group that believes the gateway town offers exciting opportunities.

CMS Employment Agency is now part of HR GO plc, a family-owned national company founded in Dartford with its head office in Ashford.

CMS, previously owned by Suzanne Robinson, has been operating from Market Square for more than 30 years, 25 of them with her business partner, Madelaine Spain. In the agreement with HR GO, having devoted so much of her energy to building CMS, Suzanne will be retaining an interest in their future success.

Rebranded as HR GO Recruitment, the existing team of five will stay on under branch manager, Lynsey Smith, and will be moving to larger premises in Dover town centre in July.

Roddy Barrow, HR GO Group’s Managing Director, said he was delighted to welcome CMS to the HR GO family.

“We feel the future is very exciting, with Brexit and developments in Dover offering fresh opportunities for growth in the town. The new HR GO Recruitment branch in Dover will benefit from the added support the Group can provide.”

Last year, HR GO celebrated its 60^th anniversary with an Acts of Kindness campaign that raised £54,000, with half - £27,000 – donated to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in Dover.
